The Last Dock

The novel, Son Rıhtım, which made a high impact on the reader, was written by Alvaro Mutis. This novel tells what happened on the Tramp Steamer, a wrecked, stray, and tired freighter. Also, the love story between Lturri, who is the captain of this cargo ship and the beautiful Varda, is included in the novel. The author plotted his novel to be told by someone else. From the first moment he meets the Tramp Steamer, the narrator realizes that this unusual-looking ship contains a unique story. In the following pages, he will learn, by chance, all the memory of the ship.
