The company Regent Seven Cruises has been acquired by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings since September 2014. The company now offers its services worldwide by visiting 300 ports within the body of the Apollo group. Regent Seven company reached the status of a subsidiary company due to commercial transactions in 2014. Other partners of the company are the Norwegian Cruise Line and Oceania Cruises. 

Regent Seven Seas Cruise Ships 

While the company operates with the ownership of Carlson Companies, it was acquired by the investment group, Apollo Management. This transaction was realized in February 2008 for 1 billion dollars. Apart from this acquisition, the Apollo group also achieved 15.8% of the entire Oceania Cruises company and the Norwegian Cruise Line company. Carlson company held the Regent brand and its activities continued as Regent Hotels & Resorts. After purchases, the Apollo group ordered a new ship for Regent. The ordered ships were requested to be the same size as the Seven Seas Voyager and Seven Seas Mariner ships. The last transaction regarding the company was completed in September 2014. Regent Seven Seas Cruises company operated under the auspices of the Apollo group after its acquisition.
