Activities of the Marine Cultural Association
The association has been active in recent years. It has managed to make a name for itself, especially with its activities on the environment. The association made statements regarding the recent flood in Istanbul. Through the association, attention has been drawn to the experienced climate change. In the statements emphasizing the issue of climate, the extent and severity of the danger are intended to be explained. Also, the association, which can not concentrate on activities to instill the love of the sea in children, has done good works. In line with these purposes, it has implemented the "Global Warming Congress" with the participation of the Economy Journalists Association and 48 NGOs.
Organizing interviews at primary schools in different regions, the association presented films and documentaries with sea themes in the schools it attended. It has produced publications to introduce the Turkish Maritime Sector in the international arena. It has also collaborated with other publications. The future goal of the association is to continue these and similar activities. The new member focuses on their work. The Maritime Cultural Association and all other associations to protect and develop seafarers mainly carry out activities for the same purpose.
